“Yeah, I actually didn’t think that we would be able to pull this off with such short notice and horrible planning, or lack thereof of any planning until the last minute,” Jen comments.
“We should have a name for our clandestine hack group. How about ‘The Mole People?’” Sid suggests.
“Eh, I dunno. Sounds somewhat goofy,” Jen says.
“Think about it, the Mole People have been rumored to be in existence for a very long time, yet no one knows exactly what they supposedly do. People would understand, cryptic or not,” defends Sid.
“I think ‘the Mole People’ would be a really cool name, despite being cryptic. Isn’t that what we want anyway? People to see these hacks and he like, ‘So it was the mole people.’”
“Eh, all right, I accept that name. However, we should all have code names. I’ll be Tuesday,” says Jen.
“Then I’m Wednesday,” Says Carl.
“And I’ll be Saturday,” Speaks Sid.
And they are all in agreement, and decide to call it a night, and check the papers in the morning and the following day to see if any photos of the convention have made it to the papers. And to see if the papers even bother to check out the anonymous tip about the scarecrow convention in the park.
